This is one of Camiguin’s most prestigious resorts located on the water on an impressive coconut grove with meticulously maintained lawns. The architecture is resolutely traditional with nipa roofing, bamboo walls and furniture and every room has its own individual terrace. Although this beautiful resort takes you back to nature it does not lack any of today’s modern amenities, including a large beachfront pool.
From Cagayan de Oro Airport or Pier, hire a car to bring you to Balingoan, Misamis Oriental, the jump off point to Camiguin Island. Or, proceed to the Agora market in Cagayan de Oro City and take a bus to Balingoan. Travel time from the city to Balingoan is 1 1/2 to 2 hours. This trip may also be pre-arranged with your tour operator. At Balingoan, take a one-hour ferry ride to Camiguin Island. The ferry docks at Benoni Wharf, which is 30 minutes away from Bahay-Bakasyunan resort.
